Clyde Fenton and Sons harvesting strawberries a few years ago.

Located less than two miles off Highway 7 south of Harrison, Arkansas, Fenton's Berry Farm is emerging as Harrison's premier local small fruit and vegetable producer. Our clientele appreciate fresh-harvested, locally grown produce, whether they come to the farm to pick their own berries in season, buy vegetables and fruit directly from the farm or from our well-laden tables at the Farmer's Market in town throughout the summer.

We encourage you to take a look around our site, see what all we have to offer and when, and make plans to come on out to the farm very soon! We invite you to take a tour of our farm and learn more about our family operation and about the many ways we can benefit you with fresh produce in spring and summer, and with weekend or weekly lodging in The Guesthouse all year long!

The website will be updated regularly throughout the harvest seasons (see below), so come back frequently for current information.

A Year on the Farm

One of the questions we get asked most frequently is, "What's available now?"  There's nothing more frustrating for you than to call the farm to order some fresh strawberries in July, and find out they were done two months earlier!  The following will tell you briefly when each major crop is in production during the year on the farm.  Print this page and stick it on the fridge!

    When is/are _____ available?

    • Asparagus... early to late April

    • Strawberries... early April to late May
    • Various vegetables e.g. tomatoes, peppers, and our world-famous (ok, locally famous) onions!...May, June, July
    • Blueberries... June to July
    •
    • Blackberries... June to July
    •
    • Pumpkins and Gourds... October
